2022 Audi S3 Premium Plus
#1
Hello All,
After several years I have returned back to Audi. Since this most likely will be my last "gas-powered" vehicle. I ordered it from the factory with what I wanted! It took SEVEN months to get an allocation for my dealer. I actually was going to order another BMW, but I decided to try emailing Audi as my patience was wearing thin. So - my email worked I got an allocation and then 4 months later - (end of July 22); My Turbo Blue SE Premium Plus was delivered! So I have 1200 miles so far and just starting to exercise it a bit now that the first 1K is under it's hood. I am joining this forum to learn what I should and should not do to improve my vehicle but I want to start slowing and carefully - as not to void any warranty. BMUU3851[1].JPG

agreed on the bmw issue. bmw reduces their allocations and make it seems like everyone wants one. if you reduce it that much of course its going to seem like its in such demand.
one thing they forgot is that there is a survey saying that mark ups and short allocations causes consumers to hate the brand long term. i have always looked to venture elsewhere like audi for other brands besides BMW.

if electric vehicles is the way of the future, there are so many that will be great other than BMW as well. many new brands to current brands that will be even better than BMW for sure.

Great looking S3. Nice color! I tossed my 2003 E46 M3 for my 2017 S3. BMW has really lost its way since the E46 IMHO and I know I made the right choice for me. I love the snow performance and (after APR stg 1) it is way faster than my M3 although I do miss the 6 speed. If you plan on maintaining the car yourself you will need a factory manual and Ross Tech VCDS interface. factory-manuals.com is under $100 for 8800 pages of docs based on your VIN. Good places to start learning about your car.
